RE: 07 Ultra w/Oil Cooler Question

Can not say with the front display stand, but have had the HD oil cooler on my 07 Heritage for a year now. The best thing I have done for the bike. Harley should have this as factory equipment on all 96" bikes.

RE: 2007 Ultra and Heat Issues

I used the Harley oil cooler on my 07 Heritage. The oil temps went down 10-20 degrees. I did not use the H-D cover thought it would block air flow. I have two friends have bought 08s and one had the cooler installed before delivery. The other got the cooler at the 1,000 mile service. It was well worth the $79.00 in my book. The install took less than a hour in the driveway.

RE: mpg???

A friend I ride with has the Rineheart slip on mufflers on his 06 Road King, The sound is deeper not to loud. I have the V&H slip on muffler on my 07 Softtail. a good pipe for the money but if I was puting the mufflers on today the Reinheart is the way I would go.

RE: slip on mufflers

I used a set of slip fit S&S on my 03 Road King. If I ran the bike at 50-70 and quickley got off of the gas it would pop. My indy said it was not a problem. I left the bike in that set up for a year with no problems. Went with a stage 1 kit and chiped the engine, the pop went away but do not know it it would have ever been a problem.
